The late Karl H. Maslowski was a devoted conservationist, observer and recorder of the natural world, and in particular, of the environment of the Cincinnati area. He spent his life filming and writing about the wild things in his hometown and abroad and built a successful career as a dedicated naturalist. His documentary films and natural history lectures have been enjoyed by thousands of teachers, students and nature fans, alike. He began his association with Cincinnati Museum Center as a young member of the Museum's Junior Naturalist Society and ultimately a member of the Museum's Board of Trustees.
